A Cozy modern bathroom composed of subway tiles, floating vanity and a bathtub with barn style sliding door in Jamaica Queens NY
Our client wanted a clean white bathroom with hints of grey without compromising the warmth in their bathroom. Originally the client had wanted a clean large tile look but after viewing our last project, they completely changed their minds and were interested in the white subway tile look.
To add warmer tones to the bathroom, we incorporated gold accents and trims along all of the walls. Lighting is a key part to keeping the bathroom nice and bright, so we added 4 ceiling lights, a 3 bulb vanity light, a bluetooth bathroom fan with ring light, and a pullout makeup vanity mirror to the right of the main vanity mirror.
The dark grey vanity was chosen by us to match the greys on the bathroom floor penny rounds. We achieved both darks and lights in this bathroom by adding the greys to the bottom half of the bathroom and the bright whites in the top half of the bathroom creating that contrast we were looking for. We incorporated a shower niche which also consists of the same penny rounds used on the floor to tie everything together.
